i can’t believe i’m writing this entry less than an hour before midnight. i’m really tired, so i’m just going to give you guys a brief explanation of what happened today.
- LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! only five people went but it was still pretty fun
- TOURNAMENT TRAINING…was cancelled because of the inclement weather. screw rainfall!
- the first day of studying at the LIBRARY. i stayed there for two hours studying SAT writing and math.
- doing whatever else i had to do (piano, Kumon, etc.)

referring to the title above, *a few cool things* happened today.
first of all, TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF FINAL EXAMS!!! i am extremely happy because it’s basically the last day of school (except for tomorrow, which is around an hour which doesn’t really count as a school day) and therefore i have a lot more free time…well actually the oxymoron “great summer” will come into use…look around this site and you’ll find a page about that.
anyway. going back to final exams. today’s exam was for science. it was actually the difficulty of the social studies final exam that i took on monday; not too bad, not too good. the part where i had to put down some wild guesses was in the cell diagrams. (whoever is reading this, can you PLEASE tell me what mitochondria looks like?? also, if a cell’s outline is wavy, is it a plant or animal cell?) secondly, i forgot to bring in my textbook, so that means i get a 2-point penalty. AND, i was the only one in my final exam group that didn’t bring in the textbook. embarrassed much?
now moving on to TOURNAMENT TRAINING. so i actually found out the name of today’s instructor for my court. his name is dill. at first i thought it was spelled D-A-E-L, but i guess i was wrong. and when he told us his name, this girl on my court named maury (i think) was like, “oh, like dill pickles?” and dill didn’t get it (he’s puerto rican) and he was like “what?” and we started laughing and dill said “what? WHAT?” and later, someone who wasn’t on my court asked greg (the supervisor of the program) what dill’s name was, and he said “dill, as in dill pickles” and everyone started laughing and dill was all frustrated because he didn’t get it. and he was always going like “what does DILL have to do with PICKLES?”
okay, subject change. i just found out that if you take the “i” out of “with” you get “wth” which stands for “what the hell”. hahaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now going back. so there’s this new kid and he’s really short and he was placed on court one and me and this other kid were whispering to each other like “why is he there?” but he is SO good! well later we found out he was going into high school, and we were all “oh. ok then.” but we’re still really impressed because he’s better than a lot of people even though his size is giving him disadvantages.
